Transcending Medicine is a professional workshop developed for medical trainees that focuses on LGBTQ+ cultural competency. Research has shown that one of the major barriers to comprehensive healthcare for this population is a lack of provider knowledge. This experience will provide an overview of skills and strategies necessary to safely and efficiently navigate these types of patient interactions.
